Five years of Tepeme, check. M.RUX steering the wheel for the 100th mix of this series, check. 

M.RUX records legendary set after legendary set, and he's back after some time since his last one, joining us for our birthday número cinco. Soulful, bluesy, world exotica, misty psychedelia and of course, crazy good drums. 

"It's all framed in by samples of Georges Perec and Bernard Queysanne's film:
"Un Homme Qui Dort" from 1974 
which to seems fit our current situation pretty well."

Connecting for such a special moment, the artwork comes from a collab between collage geniuses Ventral is Golden and Dima Rabik. Their visual work is enchanting and them working together for this is just heartwarming.

In 2021 we will present the series »Unpublished Reports from Level 23«, which is based on the 2020 series »The Untold Stories of the Sinking Sea!«. The number 6 in this year and number 136 since the beginning in 2011, is from a young sailor, who has grown dear to my heart as a friend - AND - I think he is a talented producer and an upcoming artist: https://soundcloud.com/ouhana .

Our common history is still quite young and fresh and began on the roof of a rather tall skyscraper. I'm still very grateful for the weekend, the two-day birthday party and the encounters - because, among other things, I got to know this young sailor. He played his set right befor me and unfortunately I wasn't really able to perceive his set until the end. But, above all, I remember him with his open and very loving manner. Yes, well, it should take a while, he sailed out to sea, I stayed on land - only none of the other knew that and so it needed the Mannheim collective https://soundcloud.com/slowbar and Wiesogeradeschräg again to bring us on a Festival together. The hair was blowing in the wind, we laughed, had a casual time and played music together - this is how it feels when sailors are free and can do what they want: making music. Music, we process feelings and thoughts and can communicate through them - share them with you and dance to them. Sometimes a sailor has to go out to sea alone before he knows exactly where the journey should go - Richard aka Ouhana his journey to the sea should reflect exactly that and I think he has found the right tracks to capture this mood and make it audible. Thanks for that!

We’re still buzzing from this insane and long overdue 3-day rave amongst so many talented artists and our dear friends. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our beloved Mira’s birthday in style and remembered why we do what we do! Because at the end of the day, it all starts and ends with a rave :) 
Thank you Mira for putting together this magical event and thanks to the crowd who danced till the end -  we enjoyed every second and were truly touched by the vibe on the dance floor.

Selector Millie McKee embarks on an eclectic journey through some of her most treasured records. Based in Bristol, Millie is one of the most illuminating diggers in the city, whose keen instinct for rock, jazz, funk and lots more spellbinding genre agnostic sounds have made her a DJ of note in a town full of DJs of note. 

Her open-hearted style and unapologetic expression were first spotted by Noods Radio, where she has built a growing pool of listeners. The popularity of her radio show has granted her a very busy year DJing around festivals and parties throughout the summer.

There are many afterparties in and around Amsterdam. Some of those parties lasts for another 12, 18 or 24 hours... When all dj's are done and the last track is played, a girl shows up and asks if she could play some more records. And there she is behind the decks playing Slowhouse with nasty basslines/grooves what the last people at the party draw back to the dancefloor. It goes on and on. Track after track, hour after hour.
