InMyHouse Ep.1  - SPAD

Marco Macciocu, known by his stage name SPAD, was born in Sassari, Italy, in 1992. His journey into music began at the age of 10 when his older brother brought home a drum kit—an instrument Marco instantly fell in love with. This early spark ignited a lifelong passion for rhythm and sound.
By the age of 15, Marco began exploring the world of electronic music, diving into DJing and eventually transitioning into music production. He started performing in local clubs around his hometown, landing sets at venues such as Meccano, Sergent One, and Wally.
Eager to broaden his musical horizons, Marco ventured abroad—spending time in London, Ibiza, and Australia. These experiences, especially performing at The Traffik in London’s iconic underground district of Shoreditch, deeply influenced his artistic direction and allowed him to absorb diverse sounds and styles.
Returning home with a renewed vision, Marco dedicated an entire year to producing music, collaborating closely with his friend and mentor WAVEBACK. Together, they focused on crafting a distinct, personal sound that would stand out in the electronic music landscape.
In June 2024, their first track, “Fabric Nation,” was released on DJ Timmo’s Hypnostate label, marking SPAD’s official debut. Building on this momentum, the duo released their first EP, “Unbreaking,” in August 2025 on Luca Marchese’s B2L_BLACKSERIES label—a bold statement of SPAD’s evolving style and artistic maturity.
