My series of covers continue.  This is track number 3. The original tune "Beat and the Pulse" was composed by Austra and is published by Domino Records.

This series started with a version of "People Are People" by Depeche Mode, and was followed by "Psychic City (Voodoo City)" by Rich Jensen/Yacht.  Sitar, sarod, accordion and bass are featured in this mix.   Yes I did apply my trademark wall of acoustic drums to make the beat.  And yes they are very beautiful drums.  I am the darbouka soloist as well.  One of my many secrets is that I am a shredding darbouka player.  I first learned in Morocco back in the day from Laarabi Aguinou and took lessons from Salah Dawson Miller.
