Kicking off full speed comes an hour of untrammelled techno from Belgian artist Phara. The Fuse Brussels resident has racked up quite a following with his club focused sound, both via slick releases as much as behind decks spinning vinyl-only sets. Post-punk, wave, EBM, electro, Detroit and Berlin provide the context for a curious talent that has published warped melodies on blue chip labels like Soma, SK Eleven, Stockholm LTD and Planet Rhythm. His off kilter earmark is available too via his ‘gimmick-free’ record label Phaaar, a more immediate and personal vessel for his own experiments in sound. And it’s not all off the shelf, 2022 saw him take his Korg EMX-1 onstage for a debut live performance that presents yet another side to his many-layered craft, and a new alias titled In Glass promises to reimagine both house and dubbier references. With bated breath comes this next instalment, powerful beats from the get go, tracks with striking forward momentum interwoven with atomic precision and a primary feeling for ambiance that doesn’t miss a trick. Phara taps a wealth of experience and knowledge of records for Bassiani Podcast 222, shadowy frequencies and volative basslines, everything you love about techno brought together by this prolific and multifaceted artist.

Juri Heidemann, formerly known as Mio, is a Berlin-based DJ and producer whose sound draws inspiration from multiple genres whilst blending classic with modern. His unique sound has been showcased by various renowned labels, some of which are Be As One Imprint, Quartz Rec and Frenzy Recordings. Heidemann’s productions showcase his admiration for all things electronic and are not limited to Techno, having released tracks from Breaks to Bass and House. When he isn’t recording music, Heidemann is busy running the Pengan Records label together with co-founder Benji. 

Expect an hour filled with driving hypnotic grooves, texturised rhythms and endless loops, along with Heidemann’s one-of-a-kind productions to keep you moving and grooving.

Berlin-based DJ and producer Amotik has been making waves since moving to the city in 2014. Known for his driving, energetic, and atmospheric sound, he’s established himself as a force in modern techno, both behind the decks and in the studio. His self-titled imprint launched in 2015 with a series of EPs, leading to guest spots on labels like 47, BPitch, and Figure.🔊

His debut album, Vistār (2019), and follow-up Patanjali (2022) received acclaim from Mixmag and Groove Magazine, who recognized him as one of their top 30 producers for 2022/23. 2023 marked the launch of his label AMTK+, a platform for artists that inspire him.💫 With appearances at Berghain, De School, Fabric, Fuse, Khidi, and Printworks, Amotik’s reach continues to grow. 

His SPND20 Mixtape marks a return to his roots, diving into house music—a rare mix under the Amotik name and his first official house release. It’s packed with tracks he used to play, even including one of his own early productions. Though he doesn’t often play house, recent closing sets at Panorama Bar have shown his range, and this set brings that energy home, recorded on 3 XDJ1000s + Xone96 mixer. This Blitz Live recording captures their electrifying set from early March – the pair stepped in to cover an additional hour after our residents Glaskin had to cancel their live set due to illness. I dont often share recordings from my longer club sets but Open Ground is somewhere i instantly felt comfortable and I enjoyed these 6 hours so much that I felt compelled to share them with you.

Hands down, one of the best, if not THE best soundsystem in the world right now! If you ever get the chance to experience it, don’t miss out.

At the intersection of techno's industrial past and its avant-garde future stands Phase Fatale, the Berlin-based project of Hayden Payne. A resident at both Berghain and KHIDI, Payne channels his roots in New York's post-punk and EBM scenes into a sound that's precisely engineered for the deepest corners of the dancefloor. 

Since emerging in 2014, Phase Fatale has been pivotal in reshaping the contours of modern techno. His releases on labels like Ostgut Ton, Jealous God, and Hospital Productions showcase a commitment to sonic exploration, blending dense atmospheres with rhythmic precision. His 2020 album, Scanning Backwards, was specifically engineered for Berghain's acoustics, reflecting his deep connection to the club's sonic environment.

Beyond his productions, Payne co-founded the BITE label in 2018, aiming to platform artists operating outside conventional techno paradigms. With a roster that includes both emerging talents and established names, BITE has become a beacon for those seeking the fringes of electronic music

@philippapacho is like a musical Swiss knife: she has exactly the right tool for every occasion, from warm-ups to peak time to wonky afters. It was a long residency at Under Bron in her native Stockholm that equipped her with those skills, and since moving to Berlin, she's gone on to make her mark across Europe playing all forms of techno. Late last year, Pacho launched her own label Phorum Records as a further extension of her sound, and she also curates tracks and parties under the Positive Source banner.

This August, Pacho joins us at Amsterdamse Bos for Dekmantel 2025 but first serves up this deeply cerebral trip into Millsian techno. It's a high-speed selection of sleek and synth-laced sounds rich in narrative, be that mind-melting urgency, more dark and moody undercurrents or a sense of cosmic unknown. Utterly timeless and effortless classic, this is techno in its most futuristic form.
