Expect something different here because it was a bar/livingroom session. A bit more slow, a bit more funky and groovy.

Roman alias Spanks was born and raised in Berlin and has been standing behind the decks for 14 years now. Roman has a wide range of musical influences, his mixes are something between House, Disco and Funk. Kunst definiert an dem was der Gegenueber erhalten will. Ob Extase, Afterhour oder Warmup. Spanks.! Fordert sein Publikum herraus, versucht zu ueberraschen, zu beeindrucken. Der Moment in dem alles Stillsteht. Ein Augenblick jagdt den naechsten. Effekt, formloser Uebergang, langes Outro, verspielter Delay, verlaengerter Break, ein etwas anderes Song. Nie weiss man was als naechstes kommt. Immer volles Risiko & immer mit vollem Engagement. Wer zum chillen und knutschen gekommen ist verliert hier seine Zaehne. Biographie / Einfluesse


Seit 2005 an den Decks, seit 2007 professioneller Unterwegs hat er schon einige Clubs national und international vom Pult aus gesehen. KaterHolzig, GoldenGate, Sisyphos, Ritter Butzke. Maintime, Warmup Afterhour. Spanks.! hat sich durch seine Live & Online sets einen Namen erarbeitet. Auch wenn die grosse Gigs neben den grossen Namen natuerlich etwas besonderes sind, so blueht er gerade auch auf Undergroundpartys mit ausgewaehltem Publikum auf. Generell hat Spanks aber seinen sehr eigenen Style, in dem sich 10 Jahre DJ Karriere widerspiegeln, entwickelt. Ob Vinyl oder CDJ, die Performance oder der Stil, Spanks bleibt sich und seiner Musik treu ohne festgefahren zu sein.
