Many years ago, a good company of disco lovers gathered on a soundcloud. We recorded radio broadcasts, visited, wrote reviews, supported. 8 years ago there was a broadcast where all these guys gathered and gave good quality material. Alexander Khomenko, better known as Sparkless among electronic music enthusiasts, was born on August 9, 1982, in the cultural hub of Russia, Saint Petersburg. Unlike many musicians whose love for music is innate, Alexander's passion for music developed gradually. It's challenging to pinpoint the exact moment, but it was the discovery of records from England and Italy that ignited his interest. As he matured, Sparkless began composing and curating music himself. However, he temporarily veered away from music composition by the late 90s, immersing himself more as a music connoisseur.

His journey into DJing was serendipitous. While signing up as a fan of a particular DJ on a music website, he stumbled into DJing, experimenting with mixing tracks. This newfound pursuit captivated him, becoming a steadfast passion that he continues to pursue, delighting his audience with fresh mixes consistently.

Sparkless has since become a prominent figure in the music scene, authoring over 150 music reviews in his homeland. For the past eight years, he has consistently ranked among Russia's top 100 DJs on the country's premier music platform.

Describing the music he champions as an "intellectual and emotional cocktail with deep philosophical undertones," Sparkless gravitates towards genres like Deep House, Nu Disco, DNB, Soulful, Atmospheric Breaks, and House.

A versatile DJ, Sparkless holds residencies at Alchemist Bar and Mantra Club, showcasing his talent across various venues.

Alexander Khomenko, known to electronic music fans as Sparkless, was born on August 9, 1982, in the Northern capital of Russia- Saint Petersburg. Even then, without knowing anything of the boy’s future, life was leaving an imprint of warm summer rain chords and melodic birds’ vocals on the soul of the future artist. A love of music was not inherited by the boy, as it is with most music careers, but it came quietly. It’s hard to recall the day when it happened, but it was the first records from England and Italy which fell into his hands that triggered it. Later, in his more conscious years, Sparkless began himself to write and collect music. Alexander parted from writing music at the end of the 90s, focusing his attention as a listener. It was only by coincidence that he got into DJing, while registering for a music site as a fan of ONE of the Djs, and he decided to try his hand at the art of mixing songs. This process carried him away and stuck, so to this day he keeps following the passion, bringing consistently fresh mixes to his fans again and again. 
To date, Sparkless is the author of more than 150 music reviews in his home country, and for the last 8 years ruzzia’s top music site has ranked him in their top 100 DJs. 
Alexander characterizes the music that he promotes as “an intellectual and emotional cocktail, with a deep, philosophical meaning”. Preferred styles: Deep house, Nu Disco, DNB, Soulfull, Atmospheric breaks, House.
