Sparkless - Soul Disco 27 (Lyric Edition)

You know I really thought this was gonna be the week that I would do something I haven't done in months. That is to miss a week's episode. We are so slam at work that I have been working two weekends in a row (including last week's holiday) non stop.

While listening today to some of the new music I've accumulated in the last few weeks as I worked I just couldn't bring myself to miss an episode. I cranked through to the animations I had to do and got around to record EP-267 before the end of the day. I'm so glad I did cause I needed this to wind down a bit from the craziness.

Sparkless — Back At Time V.3.0 (past And Present Final Edit)

I know I said EP-281 was going to be the last episode for 2022 but I have a few days off work, I received some amazing new promos this week, and I just wanted to return to some Deep House after the last long Disco episode and I am definitely finishing the year with a deep dive on this EP-282.  So, for real this time the last episode of 2022. Next one will prob be my live set for the day party gig I am playing at on the 1st of 2023 or my recap of my favorite 2022 tunes of the past year. Maybe the other way around. No matter cause the music won't stop :)

Alexander Khomenko, known to electronic music fans as Sparkless, was born on August 9, 1982, in the Northern capital of Russia- Saint Petersburg. Even then, without knowing anything of the boy’s future, life was leaving an imprint of warm summer rain chords and melodic birds’ vocals on the soul of the future artist. A love of music was not inherited by the boy, as it is with most music careers, but it came quietly. It’s hard to recall the day when it happened, but it was the first records from England and Italy which fell into his hands that triggered it. Later, in his more conscious years, Sparkless began himself to write and collect music. Alexander parted from writing music at the end of the 90s, focusing his attention as a listener. It was only by coincidence that he got into DJing, while registering for a music site as a fan of ONE of the Djs, and he decided to try his hand at the art of mixing songs. This process carried him away and stuck, so to this day he keeps following the passion, bringing consistently fresh mixes to his fans again and again. 
To date, Sparkless is the author of more than 150 music reviews in his home country, and for the last 8 years ruzzia’s top music site has ranked him in their top 100 DJs. 
Alexander characterizes the music that he promotes as “an intellectual and emotional cocktail, with a deep, philosophical meaning”. Preferred styles: Deep house, Nu Disco, DNB, Soulfull, Atmospheric breaks, House. 
Sparkless is a real multi-DJ. Resident Alchemist Bar, Mantra Club.
