Sparki Dee entered the world in 1987 and developed a passion for music at a young age, the emerging rave scene meant it went commercial and many of the groups got into the top 40. The likes of The Prodigy, SL2, Altern 8 were a source of interest and rave music became an obession. By 2000 Sparki was collecting records due in part to a local pirate station Essence FM playing the current dnb, jungle, garage etc of the time along with old skool 90s. Radio became another obsession and by 2002 aged 15 he was yearning for a set of decks which he finally got, his electic mixes fusing old and new meant he was adaptable and over the years earned him sets locally at Escape, The Lido along with sets at 
The Fridge in Brixton for example. By 2004 Sparki got into producing after joining Pie Factory Music a local music studio that helped young people produce, DJ, MC. Sparki produced a drum n bass track on the studios album
'The Zone A Piece Of The Pie' in 2006 earning him his first ever release which started the ball rolling for more on the likes of Kode 5, Azzuro, Allowance, Ravenoyz, Ravestomp, Addiction Records UK, Hardcore Lives and CT12 Recordings. Sparki had national airplay on BBC Radio 1 in 2007 and 2009 via Annie Nightingale, along with 6 Music, BBC Introducing and has featured on many internet, pirate, and community radio stations. 

Sparki's style spans from drum n bass to jungle all the way back to hardcore and not forgetting trance under his second alias 'Ligera Project'. Sparki is adaptable in the rave scene and has also remixed many artists tracks. Currently Sparki runs his own record label CT12 Recordings and releases his own tracks along with artists who don't get noticed, he still plays unsigned and under the radar artists on his radio shows on Pulse FM 88.2 and is praised for his outlook on the underground scenes. Sparki has been doing radio since 2007 starring on the likes of Shadow FM, Charge FM, Nu Rave, Planet Rave, London Pirate Radio, No Fear Radio, Spice,
Happy Nation, Global Dance, Pulse FM 88.2, Dance FM Live.
