The air was thick with the mingling scents of sweat, alcohol, and something darker—something sweet, forbidden, and intoxicating. Dark corners whispered of PHA₦TA5IA thrummed with unspoken promises, each hidden back room and darkened alcove whispering of forbidden trysts and indulgences too secret for the light of day. It was a world gilded with hedonism, a theater of opulence where sins were polished until they gleamed, tucked away beneath laughter and lust. Secrets were born here, nursed and hidden beneath layers of decadence, sheltered by the thick, intoxicating air of excess.

But Ŧ∆βʊ did not belong here. He had slipped through the cracks between worlds, like smoke drifting from the underworld, evading the weight of shadows to ascend into this blinding spectacle. From the steel-laden depths of ||ND3RGR0||ND, where the air was thick with grit and the hum of machinery replaced music, he had emerged cloaked and disguised. In this kingdom of grotesque laughter and painted faces, he was but another clown in gaudy attire, another mask in a sea of masked faces. Yet his purpose was no game. Behind his painted face, hidden beneath the carnival costume, lay a man who had come to hunt for truth.

No one recognized him—none of the revelers, not the ones who had left him for dead, who had watched him succumb to their poisons with cold eyes and careless smiles. They drifted past him, glancing with only the faintest interest, secure in the belief that their secret had bound him to the shadows, shackled him with the weight of a past no man could bear. They were wrong. He was no longer the broken soul they had once known; the man who had stumbled in a haze of fractured memories, lost and wandering, that man was gone.

Seven years had dulled his mind, stealing away his memories with the slow, cruel precision of poison, leaving him to drift in a fog where his pain lay hidden. But now, the haze had lifted, each memory sharpening like glass shards pressing through his thoughts, piecing together a life they had tried to bury.
