For a project with friends, I edited a custom soundtrack for a horror themed album using existing horror scores.
PaulStretch software was used extensively for this project.
I don't remember much of the details, but the Scream 1996 opening logos from the bluray were used (composed by Marco Beltrami) and stretched for the background to create an eerie atmosphere.
The MP3 tags I edited have this information:

I believe I miscredited Elmer Bernstein for ANOES 1984 instead of Charles Bernstein.
I don't remember where Saw 2 titles and RFAD come in for the edit. But, I think I used only fragments to slow and overlap to create one long ethereal horror soundscape.
The only files I have left of the project are MP3's encoded at VBR-0 to save the most bits. Not really suitable for streaming, but I'd like to have an archived version that I can share.

I used Paulstretch software to slow down Piaf's song to replicate what you hear in the movie of Inception.
I ran Piaf through PaulStretch several times and mixed all versions to make a very short versoion suiteable for a ringtone.
It's only 20 seconds. 
I couldn't replicate the vibrating effect well enough you hear in the film version, but for a very short version suitable for "the kick", this should do nicely for a wakeup alarm.  :)

Finally found the isolated sound effect to the Dark Anchor in Elder Scrolls Online.

Used EsoDataExtractor (esoui website) and went through hundreds of extracted *.riff files in Foobar2000 (using FFMPEG Decoder Wrapper, adding riff extension with Additional Argument -c:a pcm_s16le).

Here's a preview of a custom edit I'm doing of the Mad Max Fury Road trailer (the one with Verdi's Requiem).

There'e segments played at regular speed.
The dialogue is normal speed.

And then mixing in segements of the audio that has been stretched by PaulStretch (using Foobar2000 plugin).
Stretch is by 3.2 (since FB2K only accepts 10th decimal place).
Defaul windows size with the FB2K clip.

I used the Varese Deluxe CD to rip the Fed-net march and run it through iZotope VST effect for vinyl.
VST settings: 78rpm, 1930's, 20% wear, mono.

Just the fed-net march. I cut/faded right before the dramatic cue where it shows the bug meteor in the news clip.

Just playing around with some lo-fi effects.

Ripped the audio from the bluray and took the back channels which had one and a half good hits of the drums.
Then looped it.
32-floating point, stereo.
None of the other channels on the bluray were useful.

Revenge of the Sith Drums (Loop for 60s)

The OST is missing the end credits and stops with Dice & Roll.
The hi-res track was used and downscaled to 48kHz with SoX audio.
Found a perfect cut for William's iconic, blaring end credits to mix into the trailing end of Dice & Roll.

This was before the Deluxe came out with the proper track!

So, i decided to try make a ringtone out of Devil Trigger.
Used the opening mix and I don't know, maybe went over the opening a little too long. The count may seem off? Or blends in nicely with the rising whirl you hear. Looking at 7 seconds before the "Pull My Devil Trigger" line kicks in. So you'd really have to have the phone far away before you have a chance to answer it. Might cut it down to two riffs on the guiatar before jumping into the line. Hence, this is a test.
