@Textbeak is an American DJ, artist, and record producer. He has been making and DJing dark electronic music for many years and appears regularly on several live-streaming events including a monthly residency with Club Requiem (Oakland), regular appearances on Noir Frequencies (Tucson), and a new monthly residency for Strict Tempo (Seattle). Influenced by artists like Coil, Cabaret Voltaire, and Skinny Puppy, in the late 80s he began making music with whatever he had on hand in projects with long time friend Todd Sines (Planet E, Peacefrog). In 1991 Mike moved to Columbus, Ohio with a Roland W-30 and Todd Sines and joined up with Titonton Duvante (Residual Records) and Charles Noel aka Archetype (Ongaku, Black Nation) to start B/Re (Body Release). In 1994, his band Bath signed with Jevan Records (owned by gothic band Lestat) and recorded at Noise with producer Kramer (Shimmy Disc, Bongwater, Low, Ween, Galaxie 500). In 1998 he began to release solo works as Textbeak on labels such as Dark Daze (Carlos Peron of Yello), Moon Sounds (Dallas), Lasergun (Savas Pascalidis in Berlin), and Tundra Dubs (San Francisco). In 2011 he began TXTBK's CHVяCH XV BяXK3N 7ANGvAG Radio and has featured mixes by Philipp Strobel [aufnahme + wiedergabe], CRIM3S, BLVCK CEILING, Clan Destine Records, Mannequin Records and many others.
From his compositions to his genre-destroying DJ sets, he constantly creates new and unusual sound collages and mixes. His latest release, Sick For Songs A Season Eats is on Cleopatra Records with a remix album coming out very soon featuring remixes by Click Click, Antoni Maiovvi (Ye Gods), Jeremiah Meece (Valis), Mark Stewart (The Pop Group), and Frank Weyzig (ex-Clan of Xymox / Vaselyne).

In preparation for a new Martial Canterel LP, I present this little instrumental scherzo.

Science Of Sand

This album has been composed, played and recorded during the year 2019. Released as a vinyl LP in limited edition of 100 in 2020 on Hiératique Records.
This work has known the setbacks of the censorship ! Its physical release was delayed because the French manufacturer refused to press it.
A small committee (a first in the world of the vinyl manufacturers! But well, in this decadent world of politically correct shit, nothing makes sense anymore) judged this album not correct and smooth enough and even insulted the creator - that is to say: myself - by calling him "a fascist" .
A great evil for a great good: goodbye to the jerks, goodbye to the censors and their progressive self-righteousness !
The vinyl was finally pressed by another French manufacturer who did his job very well ! This little story makes this sound piece unique in the industrial landscape and valuable in the informed underground scene.

The O.D.A.S.T. project should continue in 2022, a second chapter is planned on Heathen Electronics.

Gouts de luxe etait composé de Marianna kliska et de Jacques le Honsec.

Issu de la scene bretonne, Jacques et le groupe , alors formé avec d’autres membres, quitte sa Bretagne natale pour s’installer à Paris, seule solution à l’epoque pour pouvoir esperer sortir du No man’s land musical que constituait la region.

Cela sera fatal au groupe qui sera desormais un duo apres un an de recherche de label.

C’est un jeune producteur , Dominique Dubois qui mettra le groupe à l’etrier apres que celui ci eut illustré les defilés haute couture Chanel de Karl Lagerfeld qui fut, en fait, le premier é les remarquer.

De la scene Noisy goth du bout du monde, le groupe evolue en studio pour passer des comptines cybernetiques à une suite de singles teintés de Bahaus,, de Depeche Mode et d’influences noires diverses . Le succes rencontré par leur premier single fut un réel accident , propulsant le groupe dans les spheres du sacro saint Top 50.

Gouts de luxe ne s’en relevera pas.
