Volster is a Croatian DJ and producer known for his hypnotic Techno shaped by the roots of Detroit. Besides playing at Dimensions and Modem festival, over the past years, Volster has been performing on international stages including clubs in Budapest as well as Berlin’s infamous Berghain. In 2018, Volster founded the label Secession of which newest EP will be released shortly comprising a remix from Setaoc Mass as well as bonus remixes from Assumption and Alarico. 

Volster’s set follows a clear line of piercing beats incorporating a deep bass covered by hypnotic ambience.

Carmen Electro is a Finnish DJ who received her techno education on the dancefloors of London and Berlin. Her sound is defined by energetic motives that play with dark and light emotions. Much of her record collection comprises of old and new techno, old-school trance and acid, as well as electro. Since the start of the pandemic, she has however gained an increased desire to focus on solely playing techno, as she finds comfort in the thriving, groovy, yet dark emotions that her selections within the genre convey.

Mirella Kroes is a strong mind with a love for nature, both spiritual and down to earth. This duality is reflected in her dj-sets. She favours the contemporary, deeper side of techno that is in equal parts enticing to the brain and captivating the soul. Mirella tends to explore the trippier, mental side of electronic music in her sets that echo a longing for the mysterious. Space is key in her meticulously crafted organic builds that allow for time to appreciate the space between sounds and the crispy little details that keep it fresh. If you want to experience her musical vision take a plunge and submerge yourself in warm space and deep sounds at Motiv, the clubnight she runs in Amsterdam.

Hailing from the north of Holland, Mirella started buying records with her older brother who taught her how to mix at the age of 19. Tough loop oriented techno was the soundtrack to the local rave scene at the turn of centuries that fostered her career. Nowadays she prefers a combination of hypnotic and transcendental music with the occasional old school dance floor driver in between. She has over ten years experience and is a regular in Dutch and European clubs. Over the years she played in Doornroosje, Trouw, Studio 80, and at festivals such as Awakenings. She held a residency in the now closed Cruquiusgilde, a former warehouse in Amsterdam known for its raw and intimate setting.

Those releases on Sino “Elements part 1 & part 2” that have taken his career to a new level and made him internationally visible. From Berlin, Germany, Denise Rabe is the wonderful mind behind our our new Northallsen Podcast.

Denise is a pragmatic grounded artist with a clear vision. Her passion for music has led her to be involved in the scene on many levels; whether it has been as a booker for Berlin venue Ipse; a radio show host for the city’s Sweatlodge channel or a club promoter for her own night HIDE and SEEK at “Humboldthain”.
her first 12” on German imprint Mutewax in 2015. A solo EP on Arts sub label Arts Collective quickly succeeded her debut the same year, leading up to the label publishing her third release in 2017. This is also the year Denise actualized her own eponymous label Rabe. September 2019 she announced her EP „Manifesto“ on the well established label Stroboscopic Artefacts.

Rabe the label, just like its founder, is all about techno. So far, three hyper modern brutalist sounding 12-inches from Denise herself has seen the light of day. Rabe’s productions are frantic yet deep industrial adventures, all carrying a hefty gothic presence. Her talent has not only caught the ears of eager fans, but also of recognized producers such as Rrose and Shxcxchcxsh, who both have contributed remixes for the artist.
