"Brown Skin" by Travis Little is this generation's new "I'm black and I'm proud" anthem. Taking on the popular phrase "I'm in love with the cocoa," he successfully brought it back to a topic many of us are afraid to acknowledge in the black community which is colorism. Especially colorism geared to the discrimination and sexist views of the black woman and their hair. 

With a catchy hook and simple but powerful lyrics you can't help but to chant "shea butter shea shea butter" after listening to the song over and over and over again.
