Juri Lichtenwald – active under both his real and stage names – discovered his passion for electronic music. At the age of 15 he experienced his musical horizons expanded to include techno and house, and at 19, he acquired his first mixing desk and some vinyl records. After several years of intensive involvement with club culture and music technology, Juri put his artistic activities on hold for about a decade – but four years ago, he returned with renewed energy and his own music production.

Today, his focus is on driving tech house and rominimal, which he combines with a keen sense of dynamics and depth. He has performed his sets in renowned clubs in Basel, including Saxophon, Club 59, and Auffall. He gained international experience through gigs at Belgrade's KPTM club.

Musically, Juri was initially influenced by acts such as Sun Project, Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, and DJ Rush. Today, he is more influenced by the minimalist school of Romanian artists such as Raresh, Aarapu, and many more.

With passion, experience, and a keen ear for sound aesthetics, Juri stands for carefully curated club music that moves both body and mind.

Hudd Traxx makes label history with its first-ever full-length album, Dial Me In, from long-time affiliate Iron Curtis. Aptly, if it wasn’t going to be label boss Eddie Leader, Curtis is the natural choice — having contributed more tracks across more releases than any other artist in the label’s history. Across ten tracks, he delivers a journey that moves between deep house, ambient textures, and eclectic grooves, flowing effortlessly from club-ready jams to home listening moments. The warm Speak to Me Baby (Ambient Mix) opens proceedings before the synthy, Berlin-tinged 1Up {premiered here} sets an understated groove. Roxy and the title track Dial Me In bring rich chords and deep house warmth, while lead single Troubles delivers a hypnotic, low-slung sway. 

Tensione strips things back with bass-heavy, breakbeat energy, and Bodycode rides a beautifully deep house pulse. Kontakt Records presents KNT-47 “Chromatic Noise”, a deep exploration of dub techno and dub-infused house from Canadian producer Matt Thibideau. Across three extended cuts, Thibideau sculpts spacious, analogue-leaning grooves where every element has room to breathe. Subtle saturation, soft tape hiss and finely tuned low-end weight create that unmistakable sense of depth, while shimmering chords and carefully placed delays drift in and out of the stereo field. The result is music that feels both hypnotic and alive, built for long blends, late sessions and sound systems that reward detail. “Chromatic Noise” sits comfortably in the Kontakt Records tradition: timeless dub aesthetics, modern production values and a focus on atmosphere over obvious peaks. It’s the kind of 12" that works just as well as a DJ tool as it does for attentive home listening – patient, understated and endlessly playable. Tiny shifts in texture, filter movement and echo tails keep the tension moving forward without ever breaking the spell.

To mark the 50th release on Brouqade, we reach back into the catalog and release as a set of remixes Arno's album “We Perfectly Understand Each Other Until We Start To Talk” a work that touches on the finer problems inherent to human communication.For this unique Album, released in 2019, three distinctive reworkings offer new breath to the original tracks: Baby Ford conducts a lean and hypnotic revision played in minimal fashion, Kuyateh widens out textures with deep organic rhythms and Dana Ruh puts her distinctive groove-orientated stamp on the material.
 
The bonus on the release is from Arno — a meditative composition that acts as middle ground in terms of his musical language.
 
In operation midway between introspection and movement, BQD050 depicts the very spirit of Brouqade: depth, warmth, a timeless dancefloor poetry.

The concept of releases is dedicated to a fantastic multimedia universe. The space adventures of Spacelunch and Cat unfold in episodes of an interactive musical comic. Each of them has an original script, and they are connected by a consistent storyline.
