Richard Bayer aka Richkus is a sonic curator whose musical journey has spanned nearly two decades through the depths of Deep, Dub, and Minimal Techno. With a keen sense for atmosphere and structure, he cultivates a sound that blends raw grooves with nuanced synths and expressive chords – always guided by organic flow and a focus on essentials. Whether in the studio or on stage, analog or digital – Richard employs a hybrid setup of hardware, software, vinyl, and digital tools, offering him maximum creative freedom. His DJ sets and productions are marked by precise dramaturgy and a deep understanding of sonic architecture. Minimalism, for him, is not an aesthetic constraint but a method of distilling music to its core.

The bass throbs like a heavyweight deep within my ribs, a palpable force that resonates with every pulse. Hi-hats shimmer in my peripheral vision, sharp and fleeting, teasing my senses. Echoes wrap around me, layers of sound folding in on themselves, transforming into thoughts that swirl and intertwine, evolving into a profound certainty. Yet, in this moment, I realise: I am not simply hearing the music. The music is reaching out, listening to my very essence, inviting me to connect.

Biography: 
Raúl García aka Retouched was born in Madrid in February 1981, he began his career as a DJ around 1999 and as a music producer around 2007/2008. In 2012 he began his time with Kopoc, a label he runs himself. He has collaborated with other labels such as ODrex Music, hello▼strange, [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB], insectorama, Organica... His musical style is Dub Techno although he has another aka where he delves deeper into House music with touches of Funk, Disco and Detroit sound [Cliff Tower]. This time Raul recorded a special mix for the anniversary of the DUBBISM brand podcast.
