Rolling into the summerof 2022, Mosaic turns to Berlin based Yorkshireman and co-founder of Tact Recordings, Fletcher, for Mosaic LTDX6 .

Following his impressive “Mechanical Garden” debut LP on Mosaic DTL, ‘Violet Shift’ focuses on Fletcher’s ability to weave magic for the dancefloor with DeepChord’s Mike Schommer adding a contrasting touch of class on the remix.

Title track ‘Violet Shift’ is a trip into the light fantastic: centring around a delicate fusion of deftly programmed beats and continuously shifting filtered chords. Brought together with muted pulses of sub bass and splashes of effects, it’s a masterful exercise in restraint and a true delight with repeat listening. 

Taking it the other way, Schommer’s remix focuses on a four to the floor journey: adding tribal elements and tight percussion that inject more urgency into the mix. A tough but fair take, you wouldn’t expect anything less. 

Last but not least, the dawn chorus of ‘BOHTS’ eases you into the mood with a trimming of airy optimism and brushy bounce to the beats as warm chords sweep their way through

The refractory element of unknown origin is marked as N4, used as a catalyst and a highly efficient converter of nuclear energy. Autopilot has always been a proven tool at a time when you have other personal things to do, for example, prepare a speech for the upcoming intergalactic congress. The scientific philosophy of life is impatient with flaws but is attractive when it comes to its insatiable thirst for knowledge. That is why this confusing adventure and its troubles have given so many new emotions that marked the next strategic cycle. A special request came from the Data Center, interrupting the tired contemplation:
— Don't get too excited! I see you're ready to hit the dashboard.
— There is no privacy here… Ok, I think we've discovered something interesting. I feel there will be a reason for some real relaxation soon!

aspects of depth, in the realm of Dub. The music on this EP
can be perceived as representing the seasons succeeding
and fulfilling inexhaustibly the natural cycles of creation
and destruction, one after the other, guided by the
elements and their vital force.

With Seeds, Ohm opens up the record with warm chords
and a steady groove suspended in the heavy atmosphere
of a summer day.

GIacomo Pellegrino then invites the listener to follow the
summer sun fading out to make space for regeneration. A deep
repetitive, classic Dub Techno piece hosts Autumn at the end of
Aside.

AGP (Anthony Georges Patrice) brings along the flipside Revenge
Is A Tool For The Weak, as a way to let the power of forgiveness
develop under the ice, as the cymbals start counting down
the time left before the Sun shines again.

Alessandro Crimi closes the record with an epic, highly emotional
majestically simplified piece of Deep Dub to which springtime
itself will not resist to come over for the start of
a new natural cycle.
