Almost two years on from his incredibly well-received debut album and Etherwood is back with the highly anticipated, “Blue Leaves” LP, a body of work showcasing the sheer talent of one of the UK’s most exciting artists in electronic music. Within this fourteen-track LP, Etherwood has not only displayed his perfected production skills but also outshone more than ever before with his own vocal performances and instrumental prowess.

Captivating listeners with his creativity, Etherwood explores the finer soundscapes of drum & bass, relaying the liquid beauty that his continually growing following have come to love him for. Included are the already popular 2015 releases, “You’ll Always Be a Part of Me”, “Souvenirs” featuring Zara Kershaw and most recent single, “Light My Way Home” featuring Eva Lazarus, premiered by BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac. Within fourteen tracks, not one is undeserving of its place on what is a truly outstanding album.

Enriched with sublime symphonic sounds, “For A Time I Was You” and “Cast Away” drift through epic elevations and enrapturing orchestral outbreaks that will undoubtedly stop all in their tracks. Powerful string sections, moving piano-led melodies and rolling percussions exude elegance, staying true to Etherwood’s signature sound.

The heart of “Blue Leaves” lies within “Revive”, rich with raw emotion and Eva Lazarus’ unforgettable vocal hooks - a musical match made in heaven between Etherwood and longstanding Hospital Records signee, Logistics. The album's soul is sparked with a S.P.Y collaboration in "We're Nothing Without Love", a testament to Etherwood's growth as an impressive singer/songwriter.

Similarly, “Caption”, “Breathe It In” and “Sunlight Splinters” highlight his completed skill set, with crisp percussions and soft waves of bass bound by his own powerful vocal performance. Finally, the breath-taking finale of “The Last Hour” draws a quaint close to the Etherwood 2.0 experience.

Hospital's leading dancefloor duke Danny Byrd has taken things straight back to ’99 with ‘Devil’s Drop’. Firing on all cylinders he's keeping it raw, rolling and funky. In a similarly devilish fashion we have 'Bootstrap Bill’ finally unleashed by the enigmatic Unglued. Unashamedly destructive and executed with precision, this track is more dangerous than Donald Trump drunk on Twitter.

In a perfect fusion of Hospital and Med School, we see Fred V & Grafix's 'Hurricanes (Wild Love)' re-worked with pristine precision by everyone’s favourite prodigy Keeno. Keeping the vibe level at eleven, Hugh Hardie's delivered the gorgeous ‘Nightingale’, both seductively simple and oozing with elegance.

‘Just One Second’ by London Elektricity gets its first re-work since the late Apex’s famous remix on the very first Sick Music. The beautiful track see’s a sterling contemporary edit and is a testament to Mitekiss’ talent.

This album also brings the first solo single from the biggest name in D+B right now, Kings Of The Rollers. Fiercely pushing into new territory ‘Burnt Ends’ has been causing carnage on the dancefloor, getting double wheel-ups from across the globe.

Joining this rich tapestry of exemplary D+B are both veteran composers and new blood alike including: Klute, Whiney, Urbandawn, Reso, Logistics, John B, and of course Hospital Records' commander-in-chief London Elektricity.

The release will be available across all formats but its grandest form will take that off the highly limited box set. Featuring a CD, the 4x12” plates, some box set only stickers and an exclusive T-shirt. One for the collectors, this is not a release to be overlooked.

Welcoming back the creative force that is Joe Moses (Need For Mirrors), as he returns to V Recordings with a two track release unlike any other.

This grime inspired release brings together the cold elements of the respected genre together with the raw, rolling sound of drum and bass. The lead track ‘Tidal Wavey’ has been bubbling on the underground surface for the good part of a year, with the energetic vocal hook and sub low bass rattling the floors of Soul In Motion events across the country, this track has a life of its own and voice of a generation.

The dirt continues with ‘Knot’, a detuned DRS on vocals helps to take you into his world. Another stimulating fusion of cold eski-style synths with a pitch shifting, rumbling sub.
