IYRE (pronounced 'eye-ree') is a Sri Lankan-born producer and DJ who has carved out space in the global drum & bass scene for his emotive, cinematic approach - blending liquid and tech flavours and drawing from his unique background and influences. 

His releases on labels like Fokuz, Soulvent, Goldfat and UKF reflect his versatility, and he's also been nominated for major newcomer awards and featured on lists such as Mixmag's Breakthrough DJs, UKF's artists of the year and DJ mags Ones To Watch.

Izanami embodies the duality of existence: she is both the giver of life and the bringer of death. As a creator goddess, she gave birth to the lands and deities of Japan. Yet her tragic death during childbirth led her to rule the underworld. This paradox reflects the natural cycle, life and death are inseparable, each giving meaning to the other.
