The Special Needs Family Hour is hosted by Julie Ames who is the proud parent of three girls two of whom have autism and intellectual disabilities. The show is dedicated to helping parents and caregivers who are caring for individuals with special needs. All things related to special needs will be covered on the show to include medical, educational, and legal issues. Julie has a B.S. in Industrial Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech. Prior to having children Julie was an Engineer with the Navy. “Today my life is all about special needs and helping others deal with the challenges they face.”
