Definitive Junglists is a duo of two best friends, Shock & Z-Tek, who have been playing dnb together for fifteen years. Shock began playing dnb in the late 90's being influenced by the sounds of Bad Company, Renegade Hardware, RAM, Valve, and Technique Recordings. Z-Teks journey into dnb began when he started djing it with Shock, therefore sharing similar influences, which is evident when they mix together. They have been fortunate enough to have been involved in one of the greatest dnb scenes in the US, getting the pleasure of playing for some of the biggest promoters that shaped the DC dnb scene, Buzz & 3D, being on the bill of some of the biggest names and playing alongside some of the best local talent in the DC metro area.
