Inner Light, the new EP by Overkissed, DJ/producer and edit virtuoso based in Istanbul is an ode to introspection and self-discovery. All tracks feature Club oriented sonorities with complex structures, tight drums and breakbeats, hard dance influences and meticulous attention to synths and samples, flawlessly shifting between playful tones (Drown, Your Love is my Drxg) and melancholic / emotional club vibes (I will always Love you, Whoa) while never forgetting their dancefloor-friendly destination.

Inner Light includes two remixes by Swooh ("My Love" and "Drown"), Additionally, Brenda offers a remix of "Whoa," completely deconstructing the track with a Latin club twist and adding their magical touch.

Kind of a hard shift from what we are used to with my music but I've been wanting to make something more atmospheric and less reliant on a sample for awhile now. The brief vocal sample is none other than Nina Simone, a personal favorite and a beautiful voice. She accents some crunchy and smooth filtered pads with a smooth first half, and an all amen second half. I hope you enjoy!
