This set of remixes provides an intriguing companion to Fleck E.S.C.'s 'Responsible Grown Up' EP,
released on Woodwork in May. The four inventive producers enlisted for this project went to task recontextualizing the original parts, each crafting a personal shout out the original EP.

ADJ's powerhouse take on 'Substitute Placebo' enhances the bubbling, freakish qualities of the track
while adding some signature muscle and swagger and a subtle dark rave essence.

Kim Cosmik ups the ante with a tidy smackdown version of 'Grassland'. Kim's version brings a hefty
sub and a bouncy break into the arrangement while the main parts remain intact but slanted with a
cracking new style and urgency.

UnSonore, a childhood friend and close acquaintance of Fleck E.S.C., stretches boldly into the outfit
of 'Responsible Grown Up'. A wandering abstract progression slowly twists into a retro synth pop jam
sounding a lot like it could be an instrumental of Duran Duran or Tubeway Army.

Pablo Splice then sticks the landing with a dizzying spin on 'That's It', blending melodic phrases of the
original version into a droning, disoriented tech-noir tribute.

Askham & S.Tonkin are hosts of the Construct show on Sydney based station, Nomad Radio and curators of the global guest mix series dubbed ‘Constructions’ - a series that brings together a wide spectrum of underground electronic artists within the dance music ecosphere, both local and international.
The duo have supported the likes of Djrum and Pariah, while their Construct brand has hosted parties for artists such as Special Request, Peverelist, Addison Groove and more. They also share a fascination for the sounds of highly abstract and hypnotic techno, crunchy, driving electro, and the percussion-locked grooves of UK bass music.

Assembler Code programs a unique sound which combines hard hitting machine noise with funky percussion on Sci-fi soundscapes - blasting out a modern take on the classic electro and techno sound - while behind the decks, he delivers a wide range sounds ranging from classic Electro, drum breaks to hard hitting techno; Maximum transfer speed, straight to the minds on the dance floor.

Trois garçons, six mains et tout plein de machines, c'est @depht_mod
Vous connaissez déjà un des membres du trio, @mimmo_metabaron vous ajoutez les deux autres, Théodore et Antonin et vous obtenez donc DEPHT MOD qui tourne depuis un peu plus de deux ans sur les scènes du grand Ouest du Live88 au Jardin Moderne en passant par la pléthore de bars qui font la scène musicale actuelle.
Abonnés aux impros qui font la marque de leur style, pratiquant l'overdose de musiques synthétiques et de machines, ils s'apprêtent à sortir fin février leur second EP "Catch the Blue".
La track proposée ici, Danza Eterna, débute gentiment sur des sonorités presque italo-disco, mais très vite, on plonge dans une rythmique qui emprunte à l'EBM sa vitesse glaçante. Des contre rythmes animent la structure de la track pendant qu'une voix  robotisée et spectrale semblant surgir du fin fond d'un goulag épaule les envolées qui se font planantes.
Mais c'est vers les profondeurs que nous entraîne définitivement Danza Eterna. Préparez votre pièce en or, Charon s'apprête à vous faire traverser le Styx vers les Enfers. Mais croyez moi, ici, l'enfer est tout sauf brûlant, il développe plutôt les saveurs glaciales de la coldwave.
