Patchwork is an unusual compilation featuring experimental compositions written by SubConsciousMind (Raphael H) and a diverse assortment of musical collaborators. These free-flowing tunes are the result of creative encounters over an eleven year time span, from 1999 through to 2010. No plans were adhered to when the friends met in the studio and no attempts were made to conform to any particular style. This is a journey through time where electronic music meets voice, violin, guitar, cello, and more. Friends featured here include Shmau (Andrea Widmer-Pfeifer), Yade (Linda Hertl), Human (Human Sahebi), Psylence (Christian Rupp), Flowair (Florian Weber), Andi Luchsinger, Judith Zimmermann, and Luca Preite. His style is pretty freakin awesome and he's been getting a lot of attention recently for producing heavy hitting breaks tracks with crazy sound design and the original to this is no exception. So when I was asked to do the remix I didn't pay any attention to what the track was called, I just heard a sample and pretty much accepted it straight away. It was only a month or so later when I started the remix that I realised what it was called and thought "Oh shit, 'Welcome to the future'... If i screw this remix up then the future's not going to sound that great" ;)  

So I did my best and evan gave it a 4 to the floor break down in the middle, which is something I haven't done in years! Anyway, i'm ranting a bit now... I really hope you guys enjoy It, if you do then please share and leave comments and what not :)
