Yeah I like the shape of this a lot. I do feel perhaps there's too much of the riff with the vowel filter(?) on it - it's such a prominent and identifiable sound that it's easily overdone, so maybe we only need to hear it half as often, and in between let it be answered by other synths/riffs as is trying to happen in this section anyway. I could be wrong about that, maybe it wouldn't hold together so well, but I think it's worth a try. The other thing I'd suggest is something else building up in the second half of this section as we approach the breakdown - a pad, a runner, something just ratcheting it up a bit ready for what's to come. 

I'm a sucker for these Goa/MWNN vibes... it should stick out like a sore thumb, yet it works. Sweet!
