Founded in 2017 by Léa Occhi and David Lenr, Spectrum Waves was born from a deep desire: to create a new space for expression, gathering, and experimentation within the LGBTQIA+ community. Rooted in electro music culture, the collective offers a sanctuary of inclusivity, free expression, aiming to host events where everyone feels safe and welcome.

These events, crafted in an immersive, dreamlike atmosphere, are a true celebration of queer culture — a space where everyone can be their most authentic self. It’s not just about the music; it’s an invitation to dance, express, and honor the diversity of identities and experiences.

Since its creation, Spectrum Waves has established its home at La Station – Gare des Mines. All events push boundaries, blending art, lighting, live performances, and energetic sets. With a lineup spotlighting both emerging and recognized artists, we cultivate a range of electronic sound that is subtle, rhythmic, and mentally engaging.

Equality and diversity are at the heart of our approach. We emphasize gender parity and shine a spotlight on women in the electronic music scene. Moreover, the collective supports essential causes such as LGBTQIA+ rights, migrant assistance, and environmental preservation by donating part of each event's proceeds to various organizations.
