This EP is the first tracks I produced after moving to Berlin last December. They are reflection of both my early influences from 20 years ago and the current trance movement. SpeedMaster have given me a platform to express my passion and with this release, I deliver euphoric and driving melodies for both the dance floor and your listening pleasure. 

‘Ripples Shocking the System’ dives into the past as I take inspiration from experiences and records that resonated with me, combining modern elements from what see as a resurgence in trance. The result is three emotional and powerful tracks I am very proud of.

For her very first EP, rising artist @laze_music comes up with 4 tracks influenced by rave, break, trance and drum & bass. This complex universe is emphasized by a powerful remix from @raitobeats. In addition, LAZE wanted to collaborate with @universe-of-gear and @aasimusic, two artists close to her style, on the track Stigma Stone, an obvious and effective link.
 
Coming from Marseille, LAZE has been interested in electronic music from an early age.
She became familiar with the Marseille nightlife, which inspired her, first through hard music, rave and acid techno oriented parties. She then discovered techno through Caisson Gauche Records, organizers and label of which she is part.

LAZE shapes and asserts her dreamlike style over time, with brilliant, energetic and digital looks.

The story behind this remix:

As someone who grew up in the 90s, Underworld were one of the first groups I was into along with bands like The Prodigy and other dj's of the time Jon Pleased Wimmin, Tony De Vit and Westbam. 

The sounds of the 90s influenced trance, techno and other electronic music for years to come. They are even relevant today in the modern trance movement.

One thing I enjoy doing is immersing myself in the past and rediscovering what I loved about the music I grew up listening too. 

This is my homage to one of my favourite tracks of all time - with a touch of psy-driven bass with some other new synth elements. It definitely brings a nice energy to the dance floor.
