Stevie Ray Vaughan - Little Wing (Dubstep Play Around)

This song is a tribute to the fantastic 'Submotion orchestra', hence the name substatic (me being lame with words). It's quite jazzy but still retains the Dubstep influence. It was a real challenge making this but a hell of a lot of fun! 

The intro with the Churchill speech 'Finest Hour' was a play on Submotion's album and track called 'Finest Hour'. Originally I tried to find a speech similar to that of 'I have a dream' by MLK to give a certain powerful feeling to the tune. I then remembered a CD that I had rented from the library (for whatever reason. I'm now fairly baffled as to why I did it) with a load of famous speeches on it and remembered Churchill as a great speaker. I looked up a few speeches online and found this one to be pretty much perfect! It worked in two ways!
 
As submotion seem to pretty much use only real instruments in their songs I thought it was only fitting that i made everything out of real instruments or at least sound real. I could only really record my guitar though. The piano and a mic didn't record exactly as I'd hoped so i scrapped that. I could ramble all day but it would probably bore you!

I'm generally pretty pleased with this piece and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it.
