An Unwanted Goodbye is a piece for solo piano, cello and violins, born from the need to give voice to a farewell that was never chosen.
Like doves, who remain loyal to one partner for life, this music tells the story of a love torn apart — not by time, but by a sudden shot fired for “sport.”

The piano unfolds with a slow, silent bass line, while the strings weave a fragile, cinematic melody — expressing disorientation, absence, and the quiet pain of losing everything in an instant.
There are no screams. Only silence. The kind of silence left by hunting, when a life is taken for fun, leaving behind only emptiness.

This composition stands as a statement against hunting, against the cruelty that destroys innocent lives in the name of entertainment.
Sometimes, within that emptiness, a melody is born.
And this is mine.

this started with a noisy grumbly bit which later turned into a more drone-like thing, which later turned into me adding some instruments, and so on and so on.

this track leans heavily on the shoulders of Spitfire Audio, whose plugins provide a much needed sense of realism and warmth to almost everything I do. I also use Baby Audio on this with the initial plucky synth sound.

made as always on Reason with Panorama P6, Sennheiser HD-650, and iZotope Ozone.

the art was made with Photoshop and its Firefly genAI engine. it is surprisingly hard to get bad results created on purpose.

Composer and Musician, former guitarist with The Small Town Models. I'm a prolific songwriter and I record and mix all my own music. 
I'm blessed to have an amazing vocalist in Chloe.
Here you will find a mix of chillout music through to punk and indie Rock. It's very diverse as I like most genre's of music but especially enjoy Triphop, Jazz hop and LoFi. I also like to rock  out and play Rock and Indie music.
I enjoy collaborations with other musicians.
