Dust-to-Digital is excited to release the soundtrack to such an important film. Compiled by the film’s director, the album is very cinematic in nature. The sequencing and newly-remastered audio transport the listener through the rock and roll history of Cambodia in a similar fashion as John Pirozzi’s documentary film. With his second EP, ‘A Thousand Secrets’, Apanemic creates a mosaic of various sounds, reviving the music aesthetics in 60s-70s culture of Greece. Nostalgia clashes with fresh musical paths, elements that entwine together progressively as the EP unfolds, imitating the changing feelings of two lovers. Each track is part of a story. Each title matches the appropriate lyric from the original song sampled. Four tracks, a thousand secrets. A vicious circle as a foundation of a relationship.

The project truly resembles a crate digging exercise, since it focuses on records that have spent decades being out of the radar. To achieve this, Apanemic has used samples exclusively derived from the original vinyl copies, 33 and 45 rpm., from 50s to late 70s. Αbout 48 different vinyl records were utilized for the whole project.

Gravitas Recordings returns from the fray with it’s latest free compilation entitled “Dubble Trubble”. Running the gamut from reggae to dubstep through 19 tracks, the release incorporates both original tunes and remixes of artists such as Bob Marley, The Black Seeds, Cutty Ranks, and Pablo Gad. 4. TAKE YOUR GUN

The world was shocked by the massacre in Norway. On 22 July 2011, Behring Breivik killed many innocent young people in summer camp for… nothing!  What ran through his head? How someone can be so fanatic and cynical? There are no answers. I tried to create a story; from the early morning's calm, to the lunatic's preparation and then his hunt for young flesh.

The moving lyrics and fantastic voice of Stefanatty, frontman of the group "ONE DROP" and perhaps the best reggae singer in Greece, embody this musical landscape perfectly.

"TAKE YOUR GUN" is for all the guys that lived this nightmare, and this does not mean only the survivors.
