'Spektre's record label Respekt, drops a driving two-track techno release by Sam Kitt.

Sam Kitt is a Welsh artist who had a big year in 2022 with releases on labels such as Christian Smith's Tronic and his debut on Respekt. Prior to that, he has also contributed to imprints such as T78's Autektone.

His first outing on Respekt was a track on Respekt Rebels vol.4, and this time he's back with a solo EP that showcases his hard-hitting style in all its glory.

"Phantom Limb" opens the release with its thumping kick drum, rattling hi-hats and eerie atmospherics that lay the foundation for the twisted euphoria of the spine-tingling lead synth. "Tensile" is built from a similar sound palette and is an intense track with building suspense and unstoppable momentum that's ready to engulf the dance floor.'

Ainda, é uma das cabeças por trás da Not Another, selo em ascensão nacionalmente e internacionalmente. Recentemente, foi indicado ao prêmio Rio Music Conference como produtor revelação. Em suas produções, Be Morais destaca-se com lançamentos sólidos, que passeiam entre Techno e House melódicos. 

Em 2016, lançou em selos como Dear Deer Records(Ucrânia), Nin92wo(Brasil), Aequivalenz (Alemanha), Keep Thinking (Reino Unido), Slideways(Canadá), além dos lançamentos na Not Another. Seus sets expressam versatilidade e diferentes sentimentos, mesclando grooves fortes e melodias distintas.

After beginning life as an experimental side-project for members Paul Maddox and Rich Wakley, Spektre find themselves over a decade later as established and respected features of the Techno landscape.  As a production outfit, they have recently released on such imprints as Elevate, Phobiq and Unrilis, as well as their own Respekt Recordings (now approaching it’s 150th release) to the acclaim of their peers, with the likes of Adam Beyer, Carl Cox and Alan Fitzpatrick among their plaudits. As their near-permanent presence in the Techno download charts confirms, the quality and consistency of Spektre’s studio output is a given.  As performers, Spektre’s unique sound has taken them to some of the biggest and most highly regarded venues worldwide, with frequent bookings by the likes of Space Ibiza, Exit Festival, Pacha Buenos Aires and Burning Man. On stage, their long-standing chemistry and constant desire to experiment always results in an exciting spectacle. Their live exploits are also documented alongside guest slots from esteemed cohorts in a fortnightly Mutual Respekt Podcast, which is syndicated across the globe.
