<p>The dynamic duo Spektre is back and they deliver the goods on MB Elektronics with an excellent full of techno sounds EP, including a solid remix by Hollen. First up is &#8216;Redshift&#8217; and there is no better way to start an EP than this one. A hammering bassline features, broken beats alongside with a melodic synth pattern makes this one a killer. Next on the line is the remix by Hollen &#8216;Wormhole&#8217; and it is another wonderful production that is slightly more moody thanks to the heavy bassline following by upbeat drums, mixed perfectly with melodic twirls. A very beautiful track and a great remix by Hollen. Closing this EP is the original mix on &#8216;Wormhole&#8217;. Intense drum kicks build the track before an absolutely devastating bassline kicks in and drive this track to a pure techno journey. Techno fans must have this EP , it is simple as that. A stunning release from Spektre and MB Elektronics world as well.</p>

'Spektre's record label Respekt, drops a driving two-track techno release by Sam Kitt.

Sam Kitt is a Welsh artist who had a big year in 2022 with releases on labels such as Christian Smith's Tronic and his debut on Respekt. Prior to that, he has also contributed to imprints such as T78's Autektone.

His first outing on Respekt was a track on Respekt Rebels vol.4, and this time he's back with a solo EP that showcases his hard-hitting style in all its glory.

"Phantom Limb" opens the release with its thumping kick drum, rattling hi-hats and eerie atmospherics that lay the foundation for the twisted euphoria of the spine-tingling lead synth. "Tensile" is built from a similar sound palette and is an intense track with building suspense and unstoppable momentum that's ready to engulf the dance floor.'

Its been over a year since Gregor Tresher's last solo release on his beloved Break New Soil. Granted we've been treated to his remix of Chymera and the excellent collaboration with Petar Dundov, but for a fresh new solo production we have to look back to his epic Nightcolors album.   Today Gregor returns home with two slamming new tracks, both of which are the result of hours of tweaking and testing whilst on the road this summer. Midas is built around a stripped back single-riff groove. Minimal elements and maximum effect show that Gregor still has that midas touch.   On the flip and easily living up to its name is Disturber. its snarling synth takes centre stage, intimidating and unsettling. But as the kick drum thumps and the intensity builds, Disturber suddenly returns to the dark shadows.   An excellent brace of the new tracks from Gregor and a release that also sees a fresh face for Break New Soil as the label presents the first in a new series of cover art by Frankfurt's Think Design.

Liebe User/innen, ich habe mir vor dem U60 Closing Gedanken gemacht, wie ich mich bei euch für alles bedanken kann und bin auf die Idee gekommen, ein Stück U60311 in musikalischer Form zu konservieren. So, dass jeder zu jeder Zeit ein bisschen U um sich haben kann, ganz egal was mit dem Keller passiert. Es ist ein Track entstanden, der fast nur aus den Geräuschen im Keller, euren Schreien und Interviews besteht. Hab zb. die Toilettentüren knallen lassen und die Scharniere von ihnen verriegelt, gegen die Lüftung getrommelt, Jägermeisterflaschen die Treppe runter geworfen, die Barhocker „gesurft“ oder euch heimlich schreiend bei der Stammgastparty aufgenommen. Und dank der vielen Youtube Videos auf dem U60311 Channel habe ich unheimlich viele tolle Aussagen diverser Artists gefunden und eingebaut. Neben Rush, Tony Rohr, Toni Rios, Gayle San, Talla, Soffy O oder Tomcraft haben aber auch Silke, Ralf-Rainer und die Toilettenfrau ihre Verewigung in diesem Lied gefunden! Ich bin gespannt, was und wen ihr alles noch erkennt.
Er ist nicht perfekt, aber er ist U60311 - und das seid ihr! Ich hoffe sehr, dass er euch immer dann ein Stück Zuhause geben kann, wenn ihr es braucht! 

Tony Rohr hat einmal die richtigen Worte über unser U und damit den Titel des Liedes gefunden: 

„It´s magic. If you weren´t here you fucking missed it. If you were here you know what I´m talking about!“
