A real pleasure to host one of my favourite djs in the Animix series, the ever-charming and immensely talented @playvlada, with her distinctly recognisable signature sound.

With a style deep, but somehow oozing with equal parts crunch and groove, Vlada is a master of blending her wide and eclectic old-school record collection into undulating journeys of bassy, hypnotic grooves, telling of her longstanding passion to the craft. 

The Russian born, but Berlin based mainstay balances touring with running mix series/party collective speLL in Berlin & beyond, with @vaahzer. One of my favourite parties in town :)

This set was recorded at a collab event with @nachtinstelplaats for their last ever clubnight. Edouard Hauki opened the evening, setting the perfect mood for a last dance. Balancing between the melancholy of a goodbye while still maintaining the energy the dancefloor was craving for.
