This is the first in a series of planned mixes inspired by my time as a resident DJ at Forbidden in Leicester and showcasing many of my favourite bangers from this era!!

Spencer Green - Forbidden - Origins Mix Vol 1

In 1996 I bought an album that went on to shape the next 20 years of my life and without doubt is my all time favourite complilation, i have gone through three copies and still listen to it on a regular basis.

Cd 1 mixed by the legend Brandon Block was my pick of the three due to the smattering of italian piano anthems and it was my love of his particular selection that led to this little project.

I wanted to recreate the feel but using an alternative mix of each track - hopefuly giving a more current vibe over the hour.
