Full of jangling melodies, fluttering keys and airy textures, “Fresh Winter” has a weightless, dreamlike aesthetic that merges with a hypnotic undercurrent of bass to create this enthralling yet intimate club bomb.

The track kicks off with lightly stuttering synths, warm pads and distant, jangling FX that create an intimate yet tense atmosphere. As we ascend into 90s trance soundscapes complete with devastatingly simple keys we look down on a hands in the air dancefloor moment. The track that begins to build, eventually evolving into a deep, bass-filled cut that moves with true momentum courtesy of punchy drums and a rolling bassline. He has amassed quite a following since his introduction to trance fans a couple of years ago, and Yoel Lewis is now set to make his Coldharbour Recordings bow, in the form of Commando.

It is the latest in a string of dancefloor-approved tunes from him, with tracks such as Goldengate and Tuviana still popular choices among DJs today. He has also been busy on the collaborative and remix front, involved with voices such as Natalie Gioia and Roxanne Emery. 

Like the title suggests, Commando is armed with plenty of punch and vigour for the peak hours, with a melody to get the blood pumping. With early support already from Markus Schulz and Armin van Buuren among others, it's quite a way for Yoel Lewis to welcome himself to Coldharbour.
