gardenstate’s debut album ‘Inspirations’ was released on Anjunabeats in October 2021, following a string of well-received singles and a raved-up take on Above & Beyond and Zoë Johnston’s ‘No One On Earth’. They’ve received DJ support from the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Tiestö, Oliver Heldens, Camelphat, Gorgon City and Lane 8.

Tracks from ‘Inspirations’ have resonated with dance music fans on both physical and virtual dancefloors. gardenstate joined Above & Beyond in London for their Group Therapy 450 celebrations, and supported A&B on the Anjunafamily Reunion Tour across the U.S.A. When not on tour, gardenstate have showcased their music through a series of stunning ‘Inspirations’ livestreams on Twitch, including their latest broadcast from Fagradalsfjall Volcano, Iceland

The ‘Inspirations’ remix package includes previously released remixes from Oliver Smith, Patrice Bäumel, Mollie Collins, Browncoat, Bart Skils, Falden and gardenstate themselves. In addition, the remix album features five new reworks from Amy Wiles, Alex O’Rion, AIR DIVISION, Pablo Oliveros and PAUZA.

Sensational British/Dutch trio Cubicolor share brand new single ‘Summer & Smoke’ on July 27, from their forthcoming album ‘Sometime Not Now’ out October 28 on Anjunadeep. 

Cubicolor are a British/Dutch three piece that lie somewhere in between the electronic and indie genre, consisting of Ariaan, Peter and Tim hailing from notably different backgrounds, all with very successful previous musical experiences behind them. A powerful sense of cohesion is at the very core of Cubicolor, with each member of the group bringing equal measures of musical knowledge. The latest release from the trio titled ‘Summer & Smoke’ was co-produced by &ME, part of the acclaimed Keinemusik collective who produced a number of tracks on Drake’s #1 album ‘Honestly, Nevermind’, and has proved to be a vibrant electronic taste of what’s to come. ‘Summer & Smoke’ has an evocative underground feel to it, reflecting the groups’ musical abilities and knack for creating dancefloor moments. Alongside ‘Summer & Smoke’, Cubicolor have also shared the title of their upcoming album ‘Sometime Not Now’ that was inspired by the concept of taking your chances when life presents them to you, along with the thoughts of hope and regret, and the constant battles of risk and reward. Cubicolor member, Peter [Kriek] explained: “To get the right answers, you first need to ask the right questions.” In a statement that summarises the album. ‘Sometime Not Now’ as a construct is an album filled with introspection, self-reflection and critical thinking, whilst on a musical level is bold, expansive and a big statement from the British/Dutch trio in claiming their place among the musical elite.

Russian duo Volen Sentir return to Anjunadeep for their first single release on the label, ‘Mimoraya’.

The duo made their Anjunadeep debut back in 2020 with two lush mixes of Ben Böhmer & Malou’s ‘Lost In Mind’, which collectively gained over 3m streams, and have since gone on to release on Lost & Found, All Day I Dream and Shanti Moscow Radio, amongst others.

Volen Sentir provides two mixes for the single, both utilising traditional Russian vocals. In the original mix, Volen Sentir combine a driving rhythm section with a groovy baseline whereas the alternative mix features deep textures and delicate counter melodies.
