Day 19 - In Closing

Something a bit grander today, bits of orchestra and sound design mixed together, using a bit of Omnisphere, Aria, Stylus and Kontakt. Unfortunately I am suffering from massive CPU spikes in Logic 9 (Mac OS 10.6.8) and this is getting really frustrating as my new Mac is pretty much useless under Mavericks. I really don't know what is going on, but it is very very annoying!!

Day 22 - Consequences

Six weeks in! Still think that the piece a day was a better idea and a better challenge and as such I am going to revive it for christmas! Yes indeed, from next Thursday  (the 15th) I will be going back to doing a piece a day for the rest of the year (I just have an insanely busy week next week, so didn't think it made sense to start tomorrow!). So yes, PAD will be back and soon!!! Get those suggestions coming in!!

As for this week's piece, quite a chill out piece....perhaps a little Vangelisesque....well Blade Runner is my favourite film!!

Today's is all about insomnia and my interpretation of what the neurons in my brain might have sounded like as they were trying to rest but failing!

Little bit of a sample patch that I created in Kontakt, mixed with some Reaktor Prism synth which really is outstanding!
