Ankommen in Leipzig - Wohnen und Leben in einer Stadt im Wandel: Ein Podcast über den Zugang zu Wohnraum in Leipzig und über die Erfahrungen von Menschen, die neu in diese Stadt ziehen.

Als Kooperation zwischen dem Helmholtz-Zentrum für Umweltforschung - UFZ, den Internationalen Frauen Leipzig e.V. und Sphere Radio ist zum Ende des europäischen Projekts HOUSE-IN ein vierteiliger Podcast entstanden. Darin kommen Vertreter:innen der Leipziger Praxispartner, dem Referat für Migration und Integration, dem Verein Internationale Frauen Leipzig e.V. und der Kontaktstelle Wohnen zu Wort. Sie geben Einblicke in ihre Arbeit, den Zugang zu Wohnraum auf einem angespannten Wohnungsmarkt und Erfahrungen mit Rassismus und Diskriminierung im Kontext Wohnen in Leipzig.

Das Forschungsprojekt HOUSE-IN wurde im Department Stadt- und Umweltsoziologie am UFZ bearbeitet und vom Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung im Rahmen der Förderlinie „Urban Migration“ der Joint Programming Initiative Urban Europe gefördert. ANSATZ UND ZIELE DES EUROPÄISCHEN PROJEKTS HOUSE-IN

In der ersten Folge des Podcast ist Yameli Gomez im Gespräch mit Annegret Haase vom Helmholtz-Zentrum für Umweltforschung. Annegret Haase leitete das Projekt HOUSE-IN und bearbeitet konkret auch die Fallstudie Leipzig. Weitere Fallstudien waren Riga/Lettland, Wien/Österreich, Helsingborg und Lund /Schweden. In jeder dieser Städte arbeitete ein Team aus wissenschaftlichen, kommunalen und zivilgesellschaftlichen Partnern zusammen. Im Fokus des Austausches und der Kooperation standen aktuelle Probleme und Herausforderung im Prozess des „Ankommens“, aber auch gute Ansätze mit Bezug zum Thema Wohnen und sozialer Teilhabe.

For this month’s MAIN INGREDIENT, prepare your palate for a sound that was introduced to Leipzig-based SIRIUS TOPIC as „lounge music“ by his parents.
Back in the days during his primary school days, they’ve shaped his musical taste in unexpected ways.

Inspired by a more or less particular sonic aesthetic, he compiled a selection of downbeat and soft electronica tracks reminiscent of those 2000s ‚chill out‘ CDs. Enjoy!“

Das goldene Zeitalter des Schlagers neigte sich Ender der 70er seinem Ende zu. In den 80ern eroberten neue Musikstile und vor allem englischsprachige Pop- und Rockmusik die deutschen Charts. Einzelne Schlagerelemente wurden ironisch in die "Neue Deutsche Welle" integriert. Auf der anderen Seite riss die aufkommende "volkstümliche Musik" den Schlager in die Tiefen stumpf schunkeliger Bierzeltmusik hinab. Doch zwischen "Ronny's Pop Show" und dem "Musikantenstadl" lassen sich auch in dieser Zeit echte schlageresque Schätze finden. Um diese ans Tageslicht zu heben, hat sich Max Kinski mit Malte Scheibe patente Unterstützung ins Studio eingeladen.
