Holy Days

Otis Stacks is a project between US singer Elias Wallace and Danish Producer JustMike. On a tour with their band Dafuniks in France, Elias and JustMike met Otis Stacks in a club after a set. Through talking, they discovered Otis Stacks had been involved in and around some of the greats in soul music through the 70's. Elias and Justmike hung out, talked, drank, listened to stories about music "back in the day" with Otis Stacks, and agreed to meet back later that week and share musical ideas with each other. They met together 2 days later and It was then that Elias and JustMike decided they had to share the sounds/ideas of Otis Stacks with the world. This first song is a sampling of the music that came out of the collaboration in those meetings. 

The sound is old but new and unique and hasn't been done this way before. Moogs, Rhodes, and analog synthesizers create the soundscape with Elias' unique soulful voice. The first single "Fashion Drunk" features Gift of Gab from Blackalicious.
