Dubmission Records have licensed the first 3 EPs by Akasha Experience to Dubmission and to celebrate they asked me to put together a short mix of tracks.

Previously Akasha Experience have been known simply as Akasha but as there are sixteen other recording artists/bands using the same name, this was causing some confusion, to say the least!

The tracks featured in this set are all taken from 'The Chain' , 'Shamanized' and 'One Drop' EPs, which were all previously released by other labels, but are now available from Dubmission via http://akashaexperience.bandcamp.com/. 'One Drop' is also out now via iTunes and other digital sites, with 'The Chain' available from April 7th, and 'Shamanized' from May 5th.

'Return' from @EddiBell premieres on TIMEWHEEL.

Following the debut album Medisin, Norwegian musician, Eddibell, also known as the professional snowboarder Torstein Horgmo, presents 'RETURN' EP, an evocative journey that doubles as the official soundtrack to ‘Return’ - the latest snowboarding film released by Shredbots Productions. The five-track EP encapsulates a balance between raw mountain energy of the north, and the tranquility of remote snowy forests.

RETURN builds on the immersive sound of Medisin, re-featuring two tracks for the film, Pinta and Shadow Dance, alongside three new tracks: Hummingbird, Sundays Are For Pancakes, and Return. Organic natural textures, percussive grooves and instrumental harmonies blend with warm analog synths and chanted vocals, creating a dynamic yet atmospheric experience. The EP moves between introspective moments and pulse-driven energy, mirroring the fluidity of movement through untouched landscapes.

"First Light" is the sound of the morning after the storm. Clocking in at 135 BPM, this Atmospheric/Progressive Breaks track captures the exact moment the sun crests the horizon.

From the organic morning bird calls in the intro to the massive, wide supersaw chords in the drop, this track is pure euphoria. It balances the driving rhythm of Florida Breaks with a healing, ethereal vocal that washes away the grey.

Designed for the drive home when the world is waking up.
