Following up his dark driving release “Dropping / Titan” last year, Prague’s finest Grove returns to iBreaks with another double-header that doesn’t disappoint.

First up is “Strings”, which leads in with pulsing atmospherics over pacey beats, while the funk and squidge of the bassline teases through.  This is deep, yet energetic enough to make people move, with plenty of build in the breakdown.

Not to be outdone “Out Of The Spiral” brings a slightly techier feel in the beat area, with a melee of talk box synths having a full blown conversation with some darker wobs.  A rhythmic synth lead floats in overhead giving a big lift towards the breakdown, which itself introduces more staccato synth blips and beeps.
