I have released my 8th album "Beta 2". Following the release of "Beta" two years ago, this album was created mainly by sampling and reconstructing his own performances and songs. As with last time, the artwork was created by my friend, sculptor Yusuke Tsuchiya. He is creating sculptures and taking photos for this work.

Weather Clears Up

piano sound diary 0823 w/noise

This piece places a quiet piano performance against a subtle background of noise textures.
I sampled and layered two types of noise:

Gray noise (shaped from white noise with EQ, softened into a fog-like presence)

Pink noise (a warm, grounded layer that slowly emerges in the second half)

By combining these two noise sources, the background gains both depth and atmosphere,
like a shaded canvas on which the piano can unfold its diary-like reflections.
