Memories fade like a ghost in the sun,
I cry for no one, what’s done is done.

It’s strange that the lyrics of this song say I cry for no onw. Strange that, today of all days the day I released it, I woke up at 4:30 to check some emails and ended up exploring an old hard drive I keep on my computer, where I saved a copy of what used to be my younger sister’s computer. She passed away more than five years ago. Strange that it says I don’t cry for anyone, and yet today I woke up crying for my sister. It’s something I don’t talk about, even when I have people close to me. What I did to share the pain was send photos to my cousins and to my older sister photos I was finding along the way that they might not have seen, and where they appeared with her. My younger sister died (23 years old) due to the deterioration caused by a disease called cystic fibrosis. Today, that disease has a much more advanced treatment, and if she had had access to it, she would most likely still be alive and could have lived many more years. I know very few people will read this here, but this is what I feel today, and I needed to say it.
