Maximus is a 25 y/o Berlin grown and based newcomer DJ. The musical enthusiasm began at a young age and continued into adolescence until now, especially djing he started in 2020. 

If you are into hypnotic sounds, you are right with Maximus sets. His driving basslines get you in a mood to forget the time. Feel the energy of fast paced minimalistic techno and groove. 

With several gigs (Club Ost/Berlin; Turm/Halle, Elipamanoke/Leipzig; …) and a livestream (Team.140) in Germany, he set the first milestones for his career in recent years.

For episode 29 and the 2nd of the Gothenburg month, we present ARANEA. 
Just like the crossover of orb-weaving & garden spiders that is the ARANEA, this particular one lures and enchants you, not with a spiders web but with its dark blend of hard, dirty and playful techno. Her sets are known for their ability to create an intense, immersive experience. Involving everything from industrial sounds to bouncy rhythms and euphoric melodies. 

ARANEA comes from the north of Sweden, based in Gothenburg since 4 years. She is one of the co-founder of CXVII, and a resident at equus.

Interview with ARANEA: 

Q: What made you start DJing?
A: I´ve been obsessed with music since birth. When I was young I competed as a professional dancer and won SM. Later on I fell in love in the UG scene and started to play music. 

Q: Describe your style in three words.
A: Fast paced, euphoric and sexy 

Q: Your best set in 2023/2024?
A: Best set have to be Christmas day when I closed effekt at Slakthuset Stockholm. The vibe was just crazy!!

Q: Your favorite track right now?
A: Kobosil, Ueberrest - Radiance 

Q: A track you never get tired of?
A: Somewhen - restless

Q: A hidden gem in Gothenburg that you would like to share??
A: CXVII,  a home for everyone who wishes to explore a curiosity for the kink and techno underground scene where we together create an atmosphere of respect and kindness.
