A through-composed piece, I tried to capture a journey of light and dark sounds. I wanted to contrast riff based ideas with long textural sections.

My name is Cameron Spike-Porter, i'm  a guitarist / composer currently based in the northern rivers area. My main project is writing music for the band Every Day Carry, you can check it out @ soundcloud.com/every-day-carry. 

'Spike' is a musical project where I experiment with instrumental progressive, jazz and post-rock styles. 
This project allows me to share all the music that I make at home, and perform live. The demo recordings are done on my laptop at home, and i'm looking forward to taking this project into the studio soon!
