The Killerwatts duo of Tristan and Avalon have put together a mammoth collection of remixes from some mega names in the psy trance world.  Roping in many friends to remix the Killerwatts classic debut album 'Blow your Mind' has turned out two, sometimes three, new mixes of the tracks from the album.  We had so many to choose from, and all of them brilliant, that we were really struggling to choose which ones get released.  So after much deliberation we decided only one thing could be done.. [en] “Play My Birthday” is my birthday party in musical form.
I invited artists who have been part of my journey in psytrance to create tracks that would be my gifts: each one carries a piece of history, affection, and shared trajectory.

This V.A. is an affectionate record, an encounter of worlds that have crossed paths in my sound and in my personal life. There are people who have been with me since the beginning and artists who came later to expand, add to, and open new eras alongside me. If my birthday party were music, this would be the sound of "Happy Birthday," and that was the intention of the album: to unite the beginning, the middle, and today in a single story.

“Play My Birthday” doesn't just celebrate my birthday. It marks a turning point, a rebirth, a new phase of my project and my life. And, like any good surprise party, this V.A. arrives with that feeling of:
“nobody was expecting this… and that's what makes it so enjoyable.”

Convidei artistas que fazem parte da minha caminhada no psytrance para criarem faixas que seriam os meus presentes: cada uma carrega um pedaço de história, afeto e trajetória compartilhada.

Esse V.A é um registro afetivo, um encontro de mundos que se cruzaram no meu som e na minha vida pessoal. Tem gente que está comigo desde o começo e artistas que chegaram depois para expandir, somar e abrir novas eras ao meu lado. Se a minha festa de aniversário fosse música, este seria o som do parabéns, e essa foi a intenção do álbum: unir o começo, o meio e o hoje em uma história só.

“Play My Birthday” não celebra só meu aniversário. Marca uma virada, um renascimento, uma nova fase do meu projeto e da minha vida. E, como toda boa festa surpresa, esse V.A chega com aquele sentimento de:
“ninguém estava esperando por isso… e é isso que o torna tão gostoso.”

Spinal Fusion is the stage name of Bilas Rajderkar, a psytrance artist, producer, and sound engineer hailing from India. Bilas discovered his passion for music at a young age and began experimenting with electronic sounds when he was just 17 years old.

Founder of Profound Records in 2012, he continues to produce and release music under the label. Collaborations with well-known artists such as Sonic Species, Ajja, Killerwatts, Mad Maxx, Avalon, Outsiders, Hypnocoustics & Spectra Sonics he has certainly made a name for himself in the international psytrance scene. 

Having performed at major festivals around the globe i.e. Boom Festival, Ozora Festival, Mandallah Festival, Flor Da Vida Festival, Terratronic Festival, E trip Festival, Soulvision Festival, Shambhala Festival, Respect Festival, Progressive Festival by DM7, Elementare Festival, The Experience Festival, Freq’s of nature Festival, Hilltop Festival, Shankra Festival, F.L.O.W Festival, S.U.N Festival, Blackmoon Festival, Antaris Project, Infected Guitars, Respect Arte e Cultura, are some festivals he has been invited to perform, which is a clear testament to Spinal Fusion's talent and the quality of his music. It's also worth noting that he has performed at various events in his home country of India, which is a vibrant and growing market for psytrance music. 

By participating in these events, Spinal Fusion is helping to promote and develop the scene in India and bring greater recognition to the country's talented psytrance artists and producers. Overall, it's clear that Spinal Fusion's music has a global appeal, and his performances at these high-profile festivals are a testament to his talent and dedication to the genre.
