Old Dirty Laundry ist eine Radiosendung, die ich zusammen mit Polle alle zwei Wochen für das Sphere Radio mache. Dafür lade ich DJs ein, die Bock haben ein paar ihrer Lieblingsplatten zu spielen. Manchmal ist aber auch ein Slot frei und dann drehen wir ein paar Runden an den Plattenspielern. Hier ist ein chilliger Mix, den wir im Homie-Office in Leipzig aufgenommen hab. his month my @radioalhara residency holds a special significance as we stand in solidarity with the resilient people of Palestine. Joining me on the airwaves is Pierre Antoine aka @cest.pierre who recently graced Newcastle upon Tyne (UK) with his presence at our Rainforest Disco party.

Amidst a cloudy afternoon in Newcastle, under the New Moon’s gaze, Pierre Antoine and I made a vinyl mix infused with reverence and support for Palestine. Palo Santo and Yerba Santa filled the air, lending an aura of solemnity to our collaboration.

This from the lens of Kengham Djeghalian, originally hailing from Armenia, he journeyed to Jerusalem as a toddler alongside the survivors of the 1915 Armenian Genocide, establishing the first photography studio in Gaza in 1944. His lens, capturing life in Gaza, is a poignant testament to his journey. Explore more of his profound work online and delve into the rich tapestry of Gaza’s history.

In these tumultuous times, it’s imperative that we use our platforms to amplify voices, shed light on injustices, and stand united against oppression. Tune in as we channel our collective energy into a a mix that echoes the resilience and spirit of Palestine.
