This was my absolute jam in 2004. I used to wear it out back when Scott Storch was my favorite producer. Benzi reached out to me a while back about remixing it and I knew it had to be done right. I really tried to give this track the feeling it gave me when I first heard it. Nothing too over the top, just smooth and sexy. The 808s really hit on this one. I think it's perfect for Valentine's Day.

Technicolor is a vivid descent into the digital mind — a world of fractured thoughts, synthetic emotion, and haunting self-reflection. Each track is a different shade of the same unraveling, blending shimmering synth-pop with glitchy textures, hypnotic loops, and emotional depth. The journey begins with “Paranoia in Technicolor,” a glitch-heavy panic spiral bursting with color, noise, and distorted clarity. From there, “Monsters in the Mirror” slows the pulse, turning inward to confront the reflection we often avoid.

By the time we hit “Pixelated” and “Mood Swing,” the tone shifts between numb confusion and emotional chaos — clean synths clash with fuzzy basslines and unpredictable rhythms, echoing the instability of modern identity.

“Autopilot” drifts in with chilled-out detachment, floating through ambient layers and soft lo-fi percussion, before “Echo Chamber” pulls us deeper into isolation — a track wrapped in reverb and looping whispers, simulating the feeling of being trapped inside your own voice.

“Loop of Love” gives the illusion of warmth, but its bittersweet melody reveals a romance built on repetition and emotional déjà vu. Then comes “404: Identity Not Found,” the crash — a digital scream for self amidst static, error codes, and corrupted melodies.

From top to bottom, Technicolor is as cinematic as it is personal. It's glossy but raw, synthetic but deeply human. Every track is a mirror. Every beat, a reflection. It doesn’t ask for answers — it just asks that you feel everything.
