To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Hadra is proud to present a new triple VA compilation symbol of the past 20 years of activism for promotion and democratisation of psychedelic culture in France and around the globe.

This special edition release, called "20 years of ResisTrance", brings together all the generations of musicians who have evolved over the years alongside Hadra. 
It therefore offers a complete panorama of the different styles and trends of psytrance from its beginnings to the present day, as the association has experienced them in your company over the past two decades.
"20 years of ResisTrance" gathers both emblematic tracks from Hadra Records and Altervision Records but also mindblowing unreleased tracks meticulously selected by the Hadra team.

Moreover, it’s also a tribute to a great man, founder of the association in 2001 and passionate militant of our microcosm : Driss, who first used in Hadra the term “Resistrance” to name his own compilation back in 2012.

Not to be missed under any circumstances, 20 years is definitely a date to celebrate !

Cette compilation est un clin d'œil à celles et ceux qui ont été aux côtés de Hadra toutes ces années, artistes, bénévoles, partenaires, salarié.e.s, intermittent.e.s, qui ont donné de leur énergie et toute leur passion pour faire vivre ce projet depuis 2001. "ResisTrance" est aussi un hommage à un grand monsieur : Driss, fondateur de l'association et militant passionné pour notre milieu. 

Force et ResisTrance à celles et ceux qui continuent de faire vivre la culture psychédélique au quotidien, pour que vive notre musique et que l'on continue de se retrouver lors de nos tendres festivals et pendant encore longtemps.

Hypnotic Peafowl & Eue - Minimaz

A passionate sound designer, with his debut album, 'The Birth' coming out on Hadra Altervision Records in 2018, followed by an emotionally charged EP called 'Catharsis PT.1' two years later, Meelk has gradually developed and cultivated an atypical sound identity thanks to an analogical and hypnotic sound, powerful, sometimes dark, sometimes luminous. Between Bass Music aesthetics, Experimental and Cinematic influences, he defies conventions and tries to write his own tale of modern electronic music. He is currently working on his second album aiming to deepen his narrative path, aiming to put more emphasis on the cinematic and storytelling side. Listen to the explorations of his musical horizons.

I prepared this set for the chillout at Wisdom Seekers 2022, amazing weekend in a forest of France, full of friends and fantastic music! The idea for the set was born from experimentation, I like mixing really melodic liquid dnb with darker, deeper sounds, and making a real journey through the set

It's the first time I played a drum and bass set, after many years of listening to it in England since I was small, such a pleasure, huge thanks to the Hikayam association and everyone who came to dance like crazy, we exploded the chill hahaha 😄

CHAPTER 1 - DIMROST VALLEY

Once upon a time, in the heart of a dark valley on a feared planet, there was a strange being named Rana. She came from a distant cosmic land to find the Zacatechichi, a plant with strong magical properties and therefore very precious and valuable.

According to the elders of her village, the perilous journey to find this peculiar plant began in the hollows of the Dimrost Valley. There she was, drifting along the bottomless river. Only a few aquatic insects and odd reptiles crossed her path. The air was crisp, the atmosphere aqueous and the road sinuous.

The beginning of her journey was gripping like vines around her, intertwined in a mysterious world : there was no turning back.

Dj Set enregistré au Jardin Moderne (SPACE OPERA - LES ONDES SCÉLÉRATES X @elemento-records)

Bio : Guy Wander est Dj et producteur de musique électronique breton plus connu sous son alias @f-e-m .
Cependant, son intérêt pour la drum and bass l'a conduit à créer ce nouvel alias, en puisant dans différentes influences telles que la Neurofunk des Pays-Bas, la SpeedBass de Belgique, la Jungle d'Angleterre et la Teuf Teck Bretonne, pour créer sa propre fusion de styles, qu'il a nommée Neuro Tech.

Avec des références telles que Buunshin, Mandidextrous, Noisia, Sub Zero et Alix Perez, Guy Wander a créé un son unique qui satisfait les amateurs de bass music, de hardcore et de techno.

Avec sa passion pour la création de musique et son désir de mélanger différents styles pour créer quelque chose de nouveau, Guy Wander croit fermement en un retour de la drum and bass et du breaké en France.

2023 MIX

My nighttime set from Interlude festival 2023 by Quiproquo Collectif, played in the Alternative stage at 12am - 2am, it was an amazing moment that I'll remember for a long time, thanks so much to everyone that came to dance and share their energy! And to Quiproquo for putting on such a truly awesome event, it was a blast :D

I had a great time playing Drum and Bass for the second time, for this set I explored lots of new techniques and experiments, fusions, while still staying true to my love of mixing really melodic and energetic drum and bass with deeper, distorted, hypnotic tracks. I tried out a passage changing genre to Dubstep also, it worked really nicely and compliments the rest of the set a lot I think! Can't wait for the next one :D

Etienne aka Danny a toujours associé la musique à la joie. Un jour, Danny rencontra la Psytrance et fit l'expérience du festival Hadra en 2014. Jamais une expérience musical n'avait apporté autant de joie à Danny.

Depuis lors il se mit à écouter et à chercher ce qui lui plaît le plus.  L’objectif de digger des sons est de faire découvrir les perles ainsi trouvées à ses ami.e.s, promouvoir ainsi des producteurices de musique pour d’autant plus favoriser leur travail, leur présence sur scène, et donc, la joie de Danny.

L’objectif du DJ set est foncièrement le même, sauf qu’en plus du dig, Danny essaie de jouer des contrastes, des dynamiques et des mélodies pour maintenir l’attention sur un temps plus long, et ainsi, favoriser encore plus efficacement la promotion de la musique qu’aime Danny.

Au fil du temps, il s’est avéré que Danny aime le plus souvent quand ça fait boom boom entre 130 et 145 battements par minute (parfois au dessus, rarement en dessous). Danny n’a pas de réelle préférence entre la lumière ou l’obscurité dans la musique. Finalement, ce qui est le plus important c’est de se perdre, de vriller, de planer, de fuir notre réalité si difficile. Au cours du voyage on rencontre, on danse, on est surpris, on réfléchit, on est curieux, on trouve ça beau, ça rend joyeux.

J’espère donc à travers ces DJ set kiffer égoïstement, et kiffer égoïstement de voir que cela vous fait kiffer (et vice et versa).
