So this song is the prequel to a song I released a good bit ago called "Boutique Fire" which explains the story a bit more. I'm not sure yet whether or not I wanna make more songs involving this storyline; I've thought about releasing the entire story as a written piece, which I might still do (probably on my DeviantArt, since I have one of those now), so keep an eye out for that!

This is the first song I've done in a while where I went all out with the vocals, and overall I think it turned out okay - the mixing and mastering stage of this one was a big pain, so hopefully it doesn't sound *too* bad on whatever you happen to be listening on. I plan on remastering a bunch of my older material in the future, and I might throw this song in there too, we'll see!

I've wanted to write a song about "The Perfect Pear" for a good while now, and I'm so happy to finally be able to share my first (and probably not my last) song about this wonderful episode! I'm very happy with how this song turned out, and I'm happy that I managed to get a tad bit more PMV experience as well. This is the first song I've ever released that features a 7/8 time signature, and you can bet you'll see more of that in the future because it was a ton of fun to experiment with!

I wanted this song to sound as if it was recorded in a room with a live band, perhaps a band made up of members of the Apple family, performing a song in honor of these two ponies and their wonderful relationship!

I wrote this song from the perspective of Spike as he is falling from a great height in "Secret of my Excess". It's hard to imagine what must have been going through his mind - the feeling of helplessness, recollecting on the mistakes that led to that moment, retracing steps in his head to find where he went wrong and what made him lose control, thinking of what he could possibly say to Rarity to make it all okay... I'm probably reading WAY too far into it, but it's been one of those things that I've thought about a bit since I first saw that episode all those years ago, and so I figured it was about time I explored that idea :)

Welcome back, folks! I miss the days when I could put out a song a week, but unfortunately, life has been very busy these past few months. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy this tune and I will do my best to keep steadily working on more tunes to come!

This song is from the perspective of Sweetie Bot, as she attempts to contemplate the reasons why she gave up mortality and understand the implications of living forever. It seems that no mind, whether natural or artificial, can understand infinity and all that it entails, and in her struggle to understand and come to terms with her circumstances, she suffers greatly.

On a *much* lighter note, this song's title is based on one of my favorite band's songs of the same name! (Believer - Ego Machine)

I'm very glad that I finally got around to remastering this track! I did as best as I could to remain faithful to the original, but similarly to my Everywhere at Once "remaster", I made plenty of alterations to the mix, and added new instruments entirely. Some changes include:
- Additional drums and percussion elements
- Additional FX on some instruments
- A lead in the verse section, with a melody that I had planned on using in the original song
- A guitar part in the bridge section
- Additional instrument layers in some sections
- Significantly less crazy panning and a huge reduction to the phaser at the end of the song

I plan on doing more remasters of my older material soon, especially some of the more popular ones from my 2020/2021 era, so keep an eye out for that! I hope that everypony enjoys it! Thank you all for your continued support, it truly does mean the world to me!

I've got another Sweetie Bot track for ya! This one is about her creation, and the motivations behind it. I find it interesting to ponder why exactly someone would design a robot who is so unbelievably life-like and intelligent, and who possibly could have had the knowledge and skill to make it happen. This song approaches that idea from the perspective of a mentally unstable super-genius who manages this incredible feat of engineering simply to fulfill their own ego and demonstrate their intellect, without ever questioning the deep and profoundly horrific impact that Sweetie's extraordinary intelligence and borderline self-awareness would have on her.

Fun fact: this songs title is a reference to one of my favorite video games of all time, Dark Cloud 2!

Hello and welcome to the first (but hopefully not the last) collab with the fantastic Japkozjad! Twilight is far too keen on treating Spike like a robot with no need for attention or affection, and he's about had enough. He tried his best to get through to her and make her realize that her treatment of him was hurting him deeply and profoundly, but it was no use.  This tune you're listening to now was his final attempt: a song that he wrote just for her; a song meant to thoroughly express the heartache, rage, and sadness that she caused him, in the hopes that maybe, just maybe, she'd listen. Whether or not she did is anyone's guess, but I'd like to think that things turned around for the better... but really, all we can hope is that love really was in the air that night ♥

This is my second song about "Secret of my Excess", and my first serious attempt at a Hardcore-type song!

Uncomfortable as it my be, everybody has a cross to bear. For Spike, that would be his greed, an aspect of himself that is foundational in his bloodline, but is ultimately dangerous for him and the people he loves and cares about, and therefore must be mediated. The show (for obvious reasons) never really delves into the fact that this fundamental issue of dragons being prone to greed is not shown to be something that can be changed or remedied overnight. Rather, it's insinuated to be a chronic problem that may plague him for the rest of his life. Many folks can relate to the struggles associated with greed, envy, anger, lust, what have you, and I think that the show does well in broadly discussing the sort of damage that can be caused by allowing such emotions to fester and take control of our actions.

Like always, I'm probably just reading WAY too far into it, but I suppose that's one of the reasons we all fell in love with FiM... there's a whole lot more to it underneath the cutesy exterior! Anyways, I hope y'all like this song! It's a bit faster and louder than what I'm known for doing, but I hope that you can still get something out of it regardless ♡

Yippee! My first ever solo P@D track! I won't bother you with lots of gushing, I promise, but I will just say that I feel incredibly blessed to have my track featured on the new record! This song is my very first Applejack-centric track, and it feels so very fitting for the Survivors theming inparticular! 

"Material Me" tells the story of Applejack in the episode "Applebuck Season", as she struggles to manage all of her chores because of her refusal to accept the help of her friends. This is one of the first moments in the series that we get a true peak into her character, both the positives and the negatives. Sure, she's hard-working and confident, but she can also be prideful, and we see that pride quickly catch up to her as she's eventually forced to accept that she can't do it all on her own.

The message of this episode applies to each and every one of us. Nobody can do everything on their own, and there is absolutely no shame in learning from, and accepting help from, others. It seems like such a simple thing, but these lessons are so incredibly important. Anyways, thank you all so very much for listening - I truly appreciate every single one of you so incredibly much! "Reality Check" has been in production for well over a year now, and it feels so nice to finally have it completed and ready for release! I had a fantastic time working with the awesome group of my good friends that helped bring this tune to life. With 3 guest vocalists, a live trumpet performance, and pushing over 5 minutes in length, this track is one of my most ambitious yet, and it's really nice to be able to recapture some of my ultra-experimental roots!

This is a fan song to show my appreciation for the unbelievably awesome Cupcakes Alternative Story by the incredibly talented SinfulPie! It isn't often that I make songs about MLP fan content, but reading through this comic (and the hours spent theorizing that followed) moved me so profoundly that I felt I just had to write a song about it!

This song is written from a variety of character perspectives, and delves into the mind of Pinkie's friends as they each uniquely grapple with her sinister betrayal. Because I desperately want you to read this comic (seriously, PLEASE read this masterpiece if you can stomach it), I'll cut the song synopsis there, and just say that you'll have to know a bit about the comic to fully unpack the narrative and read between the lines! 

"The Cupcakes Choir" is an 11-person group vocal collaboration project that initially was only shared with members of the private SinfulPie donator Discord server, but later broadened after folks outside the server started expressing interest ~ Organizing the project was a TON of fun, and working with so many talented and passionate folks was truly an honor!

"Three Friends Watching Stars Explode" details the story of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, who, on one fateful night, decide to brave the unknown by venturing together deep into the Everfree Forest through the pitch black, and are rewarded greatly for it with a one-of-a-kind memory that they'll surely never forget.

I'm an anxious person... I often struggle to take risks, and I tend to severely overthink even the most small and inconsequential decisions at times. This song serves as a reminder to myself, and to anyone else that may need it, that some risks, no matter how daunting they may seem in the moment, truly are worth taking. 

I really hope y'all like how this one turned out! I happen to think that this song features some of my best lyricism and melody writing to date, and I'm very happy with it overall~!

And overshadowing the song completely, in my humble opinion, is the absolutely majestic lyric video by the extremely talented and severely underrated nari! She went absolutely above and beyond for this project, and I could not be happier with it turned out~! So please, go show her a TON of love~!
