117 - Shadowboxing

This one also went through a lot of different versions, which I eventually discarded because they either sounded too much like Hopes and Dreams or whatever reference I used was too obvious. With a legendary track such as Hopes and Dreams, it's hard to feel like whatever you're doing makes justice to it, but just the same as with Undertale (the song), I came to accept that this version probably won't be as good as the original, but it doesn't have to be. None of the Alternate tracks need to be. As Dr Dre said: "I'm never gonna be able to do it any better than what they did, this is just my version (right before cooking a trash beat)"

Now onto my inspiration for this, I took a lot of different things. 'Raw Unfiltered Calamity' by DM Dokuro, 'Solaris Phase 2' from Sonic 06, many chiptune and tracker songs, etc. I wanted this to have a feeling of finality, of the realization that this is truly the end of your journey. Just as I do, I hope you enjoy this.

Also I got the worst diarrhea of my life by the time I'm uploading this so pray for me if you want to see megalovania.

100 - Hopes And Dreams

Inspired mostly on Bloody Tears' SSBU version. I wanted to do something different for this track, so instead of making it a "phase 2" with the same FLP as Hopes and Dreams, I did it from scratch, and I went for a more "epic" feeling, as if the entire world is really at stake, but you're still more than powerful enough to save it. The original song felt more like it was "reminiscing" you of the friends you made along the journey, and thus it sounded like a more "friendly" and happy song. That's why it worked so well, but as I said, I wanted this to feel more intense. Hope that works as well. In any case, hope you enjoy.

102 - SAVE The World

It was the final stage of cultural and technological development with a significant shift in lifestyle and behavior. Finally, I stood upright with the basic tools needed to create my own world. 

These are some of my first compositions. Or at least the ones I've been able to keep track of after years of losing project files and trying to mix, finish and save what's left. 

Mostly recorded 2005-2013 on old computers with basic recording software and no audio production knowledge.
